9/11

A quiet day in the area,
of a silver New York City.
But the people there, are unaware,
of what the sky is bringing.

A little dot in the sky,
the city people silenced.
It grows bigger, a terrorist plane!
Then begins the violence.

It drops a dot, or so it seems,
onto the tallest tower.
It suddenly bursts, a bomb it was:
a fiery rain of power.

The tower crumbles violently,
and falls onto the next.
A very frightening sight to see:
waterfalls of cement.

People scream in terror,
and run from the falling giants.
Mothers yell to their children
about jet-planes, bombs, and tyrants.

The red and orange fire,
is clearing up to blue,
But the smoky clouds still cover
the ashes, hot and new.

The city now is quiet,
the terror still at hand:
but no one can look at the ashes,
of a devastated piece of land.

The smell of death still stays,
from that sad and scary day.
And many people went up to heaven,
the day of 9/11.

Don't scold me if I put it in the wrong category! D:

Anyway, I wrote two lines of this the year it happened, and the rest two years ago. Just found it....

:(

Oh yeah, I know it didn't actually happen like that, but no one told me (and still nobody has!). Besides, I was 12.
